Primal Woods

It's been awhile, but we can see the 32°F line in the forecast, and starting this Sunday we approach and even cycle a bit above the line out to Feb 25; still though, that's not sap flow weather. Especially with the cloud cover hovering at around 75%, we need higher temps.

I'll make a final trip up to Sugar Bush Supplies in Mason, MI this week; bottles of all descriptions are on the shopping list; 8 oz traditional, gift, and the bale-style for Whiskey Barrel Aged; we should have over 1,200 bottles on-hand when the season opens.
And I've been working on transitioning our video content to Vimeo, and added a link to our channel at the bottom of this Update. Our short "brand video" is now on Vimeo (embedded below), and so is the Pure Maple Syrup Process video; if you haven't seen that it's pretty informative, and professionally produced.

A measurement will be made this morning, but we must have close to two feet of snow on the ground, which I think is the most we've had since the winter of 2013/2014. Perfect snowshoeing weather.

We're getting close now, so you will probably see more frequent updates; I will give as much heads-up as I can to tapping and collection days.

All the best, with warm regards,
John
