Greetings! I want to thank all the speakers and attendees at this week's joint NICHD and NCMRR workshop on Opportunities for Rapid Advancement of Limb Regeneration. It was a wonderful meeting with rich discussion.
I wanted to draw your attention to a few items from NIH this week:
- Save the date for the next National Advisory Board on Medical Rehabilitation Research virtual meeting on May 3, 2021, at 10 a.m. ET.
- The National Library of Medicine has issued a request for information (RFI) regarding use of common data elements (CDEs) in NIH-funded research, particularly but not exclusively in the context of COVID-19. Applications are being accepted via this web form . Some additional background information is available in an Open Mike blog post about the RFI.
- NIH has released a notice of intent to publish a research opportunity related to return to school during the COVID-19 pandemic. I would encourage those of you with active collaborations with school systems to review the notice.
