INDOOR DINING CAPACITY EXPANDED
Mayor Lightfoot announced today the expansion of indoor dining, effective immediately, due to significant progress against COVID-19.
Restaurant & Bar service capacity is now 50 people or 40% occupancy. Table size remains limited to no more than 6 people and alcohol service still ends at 11 p.m.

COVID-19 SUPPORT
Four new COVID-19 Support Rebates are available now for eligible Northalsted area* businesses. The coverage period for these rebates is January 1 - June 30; application deadline is July 31, 2021.
Here is an overview of the new rebate programs:

- Rebate up to 50% ($250 maximum) for service fees such as food delivery services, credit card processing, third party merchant fees.
- Up to 50% ($250 maximum) for HVAC upgrades, air purifiers, air filters, and window upgrades in response to COVID-19.
- Up to 50% ($250 maximum) for cleaning supplies, equipment & services.
- Up to 50% ($250 maximum) for digital marketing expenses.

Small business survey to help UIC student research project.
Reece Fisher is pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance at the University of Illinois at Chicago. As part of an independent study, they are exploring the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic on Chicago's small businesses & the pandemic response.
The survey will be used for academic purposes only and can be completed in 5 minutes.
