Dear LCA Families,

As part our of our LCA long-range Strategic Plan, the development of student Academic Pathways has always been a top priority. I am pleased to announce such plans have come to fruition beginning with this fall’s freshman class. At their last meeting, our LCA Board of Directors approved the following Academic Pathways for the Class of 2025 and beyond:

Business – Accounting & Law will provide students with curriculum focused in the areas of areas of accounting, law, and finance as well as opportunities to participate in externships where they can apply their knowledge and receive additional training in preparation for college and career.

Christian Ministry & Leadership will provide students with a tailored curriculum focused in the areas of apologetics and servant leadership as well as opportunities to participate in externships where they can receive additional training for their roles as servant leaders in the areas of ministry where God may call them.

The Fine Arts – Visual & Performing Arts Career Pathway will provide students with a discipline-specific curriculum to develop skills to an advanced level in their principal art form in the visual or performing arts. In addition, the school will provide students with opportunities to display their talents to the public through art shows, concerts, and dramatic performances.

For more information about the new Academic Pathways, please visit the webpage here. I pray you share in our excitement and will help us promote and publicize these engaging new opportunities for our students!

In Him,

Scott

Many of you have asked about how to help the family of Luis Bueno. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help with his funeral expenses. Donations can be made here. Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers for Luis' family and friends.
ACSI Day of Prayer
Our spiritual life directors will be leading students and faculty through the Day of Prayer on Tuesday, February 23.
That's right! You only have to complete the Continuous Enrollment agreement this year between February 8-28. Then your child will be enrolled until they graduate or you tell us your family is not returning to LCA.

Visit the Continuous Enrollment webpage to learn more and to complete your agreement.

LCA has established the Ruth Coppler Outstanding Teacher Award, to be given annually to an LCA teacher in memory of Mrs. Ruth Coppler, who was a beloved elementary teacher at our school. This award is established as a tribute to her love for teaching and to recognize teachers who share and exemplify that love. For more info and to nominate a teacher, click here.
