HB5 Hand Free Devices - This bill will make it crystal clear that global positioning or navigation devices must be hands free. Thanks to everyone who wrote their legislators in support of this bill, it passed unanimously through Senate Transportation Committee on Tuesday. If you have time, send a short thank you to your Senator if they sit on this committee. We will send another alert when it heads to the Senate floor.
SB1099 - This bill triples the fee for running a red light. We are watching this bill and will support it.
HB131 - This bill changes language so sidewalks can be wider than 8ft if outside city limits. We are watching this bill and will support it.

Filmed by Bike, Portland, Oregon’s famed bicycle-themed film festival is making a stop in Idaho on Friday, March 12, 2021.

The traveling festival features more than 15 films from all over the world. The virtual Idaho showing will feature a livestream event on March 12 and online access for 30 days.
What is a livestream event?
The event on March 12 will feature Filmed by Bike movies as well as local content and live chat. It will be streamed live through YouTube which means you can watch the content on a smart TV. Use a second device to chat live with attendees from around the state.
What’s included in the livestream event on March 12?
- Live stream of all five of the 2021 Adventure Shorts films
- Live stream of one of the 2021 Bike Love films
- Live chat with other attendees while watching
- Local IWBA videos and event MC
Once the live event ends, ticket buyers can watch the full length features of both Bike Love and Adventure Shorts any time for up to 30 days after the event.
