Highways.Today Newsletter

18 February 2021

Welcome to another Highways.Today newsletter.

This week there has been a lot of exciting news in the UK about electric vehicles, which is propelling Britain into one of the leading centres for e-mobility.

REE Automotive announced they are investing in a brand new Engineering Centre of Excellence in Nuneaton, England, to develop their Electric Vehicle (EV) platform technology.

At the same time Eurovia UK and Momentum Dynamics announced they are developing wireless EV charging solutions to be installed across the UK for electric vehicles and electric powered commercial fleets.

Jaguar Land Rover also announced they are undergoing a renaissance and will emerge as a pure electric luxury brand, with their first all-electric variant arriving in 2024.

What are your thoughts on all-electric transport? Can you imagine a life without petrol and diesel vehicles?

Thanks again and stay safe.
