Greetings from InterVarsity Press

Each year publications and organizations such as Christianity Today, Publishers Weekly, Library Journal, ForeWord, Christian Scholar's Review, Sojourners, World, and many more give out awards to the best books of the year. We’re delighted that four IVP Academic titles were recently honored for their thoughtful contributions to various theological conversations.

Christianity Today awarded Reading While Black the 2021 Beautiful Orthodoxy Award. He Descended to the Dead was awarded the 2021 Christianity Today Book of Year for Theology/Ethics, and A Multitude of All Peoples (ME) was given an Award of Merit in Missions/Global Church. The Gospel Coalition also recognized Reading While Black in the Popular Theology category, as well as Exodus Old and New (ESBT) in Academic Theology. The Catholic Epistles often get short shrift. But Darian Lockett contends that these seven letters provide a unique window into early Christian theology and practice.
