Let’s Consider Our Ways And Change God’s Mind

By Joni Ames

Dear Friends,

It’s time for America to turn back to God before it’s too late.

Does God ever change His mind?

Yes. He does. And we can change God’s mind about having to judge America if we judge ourselves and repent.

What I’m saying may not be liked or popular. But It must be said.

Do you think the weather events, fires, the pandemic, and other calamities are simply by chance? They are not. God isn’t “doing it,” but He has been evicted and removed from our schools and our land in increasing ways and His hand has been pryed off of America. We have been left vulnerable to the enemy because of it. Climate change isn’t the problem. Heart change is.

Do you think evil can ride on the coat tails of those who pray and do right, yet continue to kill babies, immerse themselves in pornography, drugs, pedophilia, etc., without God seeing and responding???

If we return to God, He will return to us.

If people repent and cry out to God, He can change His mind about allowing or inflicting judgment. (See the scriptures below this article.)

It’s time to stop wasting time with the stupid conspiracy theories, the petty fights and arguments, and get down to the business of what’s really important.

It’s not ok to ignore God. This is His planet.

We can change His mind if we change our ways. We must consider our ways while we are still able to.

It’s not too late. Yet. But He won’t hold back forever.

Haggai 1:7 says the same thing in several ways, but the message is clear:

New International Version
This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways.

New Living Translation
“This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies says: Look at what’s happening to you!

Berean Study Bible
This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Consider carefully your ways.

King James Bible
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.

Amplified Bible
Thus says the LORD of hosts, “Consider your ways and thoughtfully reflect on your conduct!

We need God’s help and direction to make that happen. So let’s start with this simple prayer:

PRAYER
Father God, We come to you in Jesus name. Please bring a spirit of repentance and revival to our nation. We who know and love you cry out to you. Anoint our hearts and minds with wisdom and direction that we might know and do what needs done to accomplish your will for our land.

Please touch the hearts and minds of those who don’t know you. Remove the blinders from their eyes an the deafness from their ears. Soften their hard hearts. Cause them to hunger and thirst for your truth and righteousness. To you we will give all the glory.

Amen.

Blessings,
Joni Ames
