Hello everyone,

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6: 21

Today is the start of Lent and to mark it, tonight our service for Ash Wednesday will be held on Zoom at 7.30pm.  If you have a Zoom account, you can join us by using Meeting ID 762 9709 6602  Passcode: v8JX1n and if you don't have an account, click here and follow the instructions.

Throughout Lent we will continue our Wednesday evening services with invited guest speakers each week to share a reflection with us.  Here are the details.
If you watch the news with any regularity, you will be aware of the plight of the Uighurs people and other Muslims in China.  The Irish Times reported yesterday about the call of the Archbishop, Dr Michael Jackson, and other faith leaders around the country, to end the injustice and condemning their persecution.

It may be, as a Lenten discipline, you would like to find out more about the suffering facing this group of around 1 million people and pray for their situation to change.

You can read more in the Irish Times article here.

Archbishop Michael Jackson
I look forward to seeing some of you at our Service for Ash Wednesday tonight at 7.30pm.  Our service this Sunday will be at 10.30am on Zoom (log in details as above) or on the parish Facebook page.  A recording of the service will be available afterward on the parish website.

Every blessing,

Garth
