New Things Cooking at NBCC

This has been an extraordinary challenging twelve months for us all, and the North Bay Children's Center has been busier than ever. In fact, the global pandemic that affected millions—including our very own NBCC families and staff—has forced us to step up our programs to better serve our community throughout unprecedented circumstances. Thank you for supporting us, and most importantly our kids, throughout these trying times.
The one constant in life is change, and that couldn't be more true for NBCC. We rapidly adjusted procedures at our sixteen campuses throughout the North Bay to accommodate safe learning environments for our children, many of whose parents provide essential services and thus require childcare. In addition, a capital campaign is underway to build a state-of-the-art educational facility at our Novato campus. Stay tuned as news about that exciting project develops in the coming months. And much to our delight (and yes, beyond expectations,) NBCC's annual virtual galas this year were more successful than ever. Just as we've had to quickly transition our campuses, lesson plans, and classroom procedures to adhere with new state guidelines around the pandemic, our parents, staff, and supporters have found new and vital ways to continue the important work we do. Check out the latest from NBCC below, and send us your feedback to info@nbcc.net.

Wow, we <3 you too! Thank you to everyone who participated in our annual Marin Valentine's Ball, the annual soiree (turned virtual this year) that raises funds for NBCC along with Side by Side and Godmothers of St. Vincent's School for Boys. Together we raised more than $135,000 for Marin County youth. Each organization received a whopping $45,000 thanks to your generous support.
