Victoria Update
The Victorian Government has today announced the easing of restrictions for the current 5-day lockdown. The rules will change from 11:59pm on Wednesday, 17 February.
 
For the practice of natural medicine, ATMS can now confirm that members may resume practice on Thursday 18 February 2021 in accordance with this announcement. There will continue to be social restrictions and measures in place as part of the announcement, most relevantly the continued use of face masks from Thursday 18 February 2021.
 
The new requirement for face masks states as follows:
 
“Face masks: Must be carried at all times. Mandatory when inside (except in a residential home) and outdoors when cannot maintain 1.5m physical distancing (unless a lawful exemption applies). Strongly recommended to wear when visitors attend your home.
 
Any person diagnosed or suspected of having COVID-19, or who is a close contact of someone diagnosed with COVID-19, must wear a face covering if leaving home/accommodation for a permitted reason, such as medical care.”
