Lent begins Wednesday with the Ash Wednesday Liturgy, Imposition of Ashes and Communion from the Reserved Sacrament

The Ash Wednesday service will be live-streamed on YouTube at 7 am on Wednesday, February 17 and will remain available afterward for you to watch at your convenience.

Here's the Worship Booklet to use on your own or as you join fellow parishioners online.

There are Ash Wednesday To-Go packets in plastic bins outside the church office. Feel free to pick one up tonight or sometime before you pray the Ash Wednesday liturgy. Inside you'll find:
  • Prepared ashes
  • 1 consecrated host
  • the service bulletin
  • and a candle you may light for worship tomorrow and Sundays during Lent.
Note: There is only one consecrated wafer per packet, with additional wafers available in the glass container on the card table. Please take what you need for those in your household.

A big thank you to Adrienne Williams and Westina Matthews for creating this Ash Wednesday resource for our church community.

Lenten devotional booklets with a reflection for each day during Lent should be in your mailbox by Ash Wednesday. Thank you to Jim Toedtman for his ongoing leadership and hands-on effort in compiling this thoughtful booklet with submissions from St. Peter's parishioners and others. For the first time, the booklets were printed and prepared for mailing in-house. Thanks to Susanne, our Parish Administrator, for her efforts.

Blessings,
