Apply to the Food Roots Incubator programme, offering incubator support and small grants to new and existing strategic food partnerships DEADLINE tomorrow 12pm Thursday 18 February 2021
Partnerships between local authorities, civil society organisations and businesses have played an integral role throughout the COVID-19 pandemic in helping Londoners experiencing food insecurity to access food.
The Mayor of London is committed to supporting these partnerships and has launched a new Food Roots Incubator programme, offering incubator support and small grants to new and existing strategic food partnerships to help them grow, diversify, become more sustainable and take forward initiatives that address food insecurity.
There are 2 main aspects to the Food Roots Incubator programme:
- a 6-month incubator programme will provide food partnerships with a curriculum focussed on developing their skills and long-term sustainability
- food partnerships will also receive Growth Grants of up to £15,000 to develop, progress and take forward initiatives that address food insecurity
The deadline for food partnerships to apply to take part in the Food Roots Incubator programme and receive a Growth Grant is tomorrow 12pm, 18 February 2021.
