We just wanted to send a quick update. First, THANK YOU for praying with us over these last several days! Praise God, the document we need was obtained and notarized!
Nate is now on his way to Tallahassee to have this same document apostilled by the Florida Department of State tomorrow (hence the photo above). We seem to have a clear way forward - receive the apostille, have the apostille translated, receive the translation, mail it all directly to the Spanish Consulate in Chicago by early next week.
We are currently praying for zero bumps in the road! To this point, the many unexpected complications that have arisen have caused us to be a little guarded in our optimism, but we are still hopeful!
Specific prayer requests include:
Safety in Nate's travel
No shipping issues
Favor with the governmental and consular officials involved
That this will be the final document the Spanish Consulate will request and sufficient for the granting of our visas
Peace and patience for us personally
