HUD’s Office of Special Needs Assistance Programs (SNAPS) wants to thank you for your tremendous efforts submitting Longitudinal Systems Analysis (LSA) data and working with the Annual Homeless Assessment Report (AHAR) team to improve overall data quality for the 2019 and 2020 reporting years. The data cleaning process is a key part of improving local, year-round reporting and data analysis and will support communities in utilizing Stella P. LSA data is also critical to providing federal and local policymakers with a deeper understanding of who is experiencing homelessness nationwide, and how homelessness changes over time.
