I hope that 2021 is treating you all well so far. You're receiving this email because you have either made a donation to the Drawbridge Creations start-up fund or signed up to our mailing list. Either way, thank you!

With the new year well under way, it's past time to give you all an update on Drawbridge Creations. So here's a brief, point-form picture of where we're at:

• First of all, speaking of pictures, the above piece is one that I drew recently. For those that can't read Japanese, the caption reads, "Jesus sat down and began to teach them." This is the illustration style I'll be using for our first series.

• And speaking of our first series, we are aiming to launch the tentatively-titled "Project: POV" in May! Lots of work to be done by then, so please pray!

• Currently I am working with a fellow missionary named Zach on story development for this series, which will feature short stories inspired by the Gospels, each told from the point of view of a different person who encountered Jesus during His early ministries. Zach is a good writer, and he is bringing fresh perspective and new ideas to this project. We're making lots of progress!

• In the coming weeks I'll be communicating with potential artists for this series, and we'll get to work on our respective chapters.
