Dear Beloved Parishioners,
Our snowfall today forced a few changes and cancellations on our parish calendar:
- The Food Box Distribution scheduled for this morning has been rescheduled for next Thursday, February 25th. A reminder to sign up for future Food Box Distributions HERE.
- The Paraaklesis service tomorrow morning (Friday, February 19th at 9:00 am) has been CANCELLED.
Off the Streets has a need for one driver (with a pickup truck) and two lifters for the move this Saturday, February 20th. The movers will meet at Burle Industries (Building 16). Sign up HERE or call/text Jonathan Troop at 717-803-6761 if you can help or have any questions.
We thank our parishioners for the outpouring of love and generosity you have shown to the Dimopoulos family as Peter remains in the hospital and continues to require the support of a ventilator. The church continues to pray for the health and full recovery of Peter and is managing a special fund to help the Dimopoulos family during this uncertain time. If you wish to contribute: checks may be made out to "Annunciation Church" with "Dimopoulos Family" on the memo line, or you may make an online Vanco payment under "General Donation" and write "Dimopoulos Family" on the blank space.
Upon the successful completion of the Room 7 renovation and with other classrooms being sponsored by generous parishioner contributions, a large scale renovation of classrooms 1 through 8 along with the hallways and bathrooms on the office side of the church building will begin in March. Please contact Fr. Hector or the church office if you are interested in sponsoring a classroom in memory of a loved one.
Also, we will begin "TGIF GOYA" next Friday, February 26th, from 7-9pm, giving our Goyans the opportunity to enjoy open gym basketball, ping-pong, and Bible Study.
