Happy Year of the Ox

牛年大吉! Happy New Year of the Ox!

Chinese New Year is a time of family, friends, and celebration. As we move into the Year of the Ox, we reflect on the previous year—one of disruption, instability, and the pandemic, but also of innovation in Chinese language education.

We take this time to recognize our Chinese language teachers, who are heroes in their communities and for their students. And while we know that the challenges of the Year of the Rat are not completely behind us, we will embody the Ox’s hardworking spirit to move us forward into a brighter future.

The China Learning Initiatives team is dedicated to advancing our mission—promoting Chinese language and culture to young people—in new and innovative ways. We are taking what we've learned during the Year of the Rat and creating new opportunities in the Year of the Ox.

We look forward to working with you and shaping the future of Chinese language education together.

So, on behalf of the entire Asia Society, we would like to wish you a Happy Chinese New Year! 新年快乐!
