Those on Our Hearts
Brad, Inez, Ken, Sarah, Bryan W.; Kathleen; Lawson (father of Rick Adams); Liz Demelo (long-time Community Ministries staff member); all who suffer discrimination based on race; all who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic; all those on our hearts.
We pray for Susie Adams and family as they mourn the loss of Susie's brother Kevin, who died on Wednesday.
We pray for Helen Cathcart and family as they mourn the loss of Helen's sister Sarah McLoughlin, who died on Wednesday.

Thank you so much to Laraine Paradis who shared her love of ikebana with us this week. We had 14 participants -- two from St. Thomas the Apostle, and two from further afield (Anne's Mum and sister). Laraine helped us all appreciate the way simplicity, space, and structure help us to see the miracle of nature and life even more fully.
One of Laraine's arrangements!
Next week, Anne will share about hitch-hiking and poetry and how they're all connected to faith. Here's the link. We hope you'll join.

Do you need support?
Each one of us is experiencing these pandemic days in a different way. If you would like to check in, have a conversation, share a laugh or a cry, or be prayed with, please be in touch with Rev. Victoria (victoria@stlukesottawa.ca or 613-698-6083) to set up a Zoom meeting or phone conversation.
Would you like to connect with another member of the community but aren’t sure how to reach them? Contact Helen Cathcart at familylibrarian@yahoo.ca, or leave a message on the church answering machine and we’ll make the connection.
We can get through this together!
Vestry Reports
Those who usually submit Vestry Reports are asked to do so as soon as possible, and to email them to the church office: officestlukesottawa@gmail.com
While those preparing reports might wonder at first what to include, given that we've been in a pandemic all these months, reports are an important record and it's important to document each year. Thank you in advance for your efforts!
