Please join us for our "Action of Love for Our Homes" in San Francisco City Hall this Friday. As COVID-19 continues to rage, many families are experiencing desperation as their rent debt accumulates. We will urge San Francisco to respect the dignity of immigrant families and their right to remain in their homes during the pandemic. We need your presence at this action, as we are stronger and more courageous when we united in solidarity.

Our Demands
- We demand that GIVE2SF distribute the money for rental debt relief within two weeks of the request being submitted.
- We demand that the requirement to sign a promise to pay 25% of back rent, plus full rent when the moratorium ends, be removed. Many of us lost our jobs and have no way of knowing when we will return to work. Help should not be contingent on a promise we cannot give.
- We demand that requirements for rent relief beyond our identification and a letter from our landlord or manager collecting the rent be removed. Discrimination due to immigration status must not be allowed.
- We demand that organizations that receive funds to distribute the rental assistance be responsible and accountable to the community.
- We demand that the Mayor, Supervisors, and the Director of the Department of Public Health create a fund to assist those who test positive for COVID-19 and are unable to pay rent.
