SalMar to build the world’s largest smolt hatchery in Norway
SalMar partnered with Krüger Kaldnes and constructing partner Consto to build the world’s largest smolt hatchery in Tjuin, Norway with a total area of 17,000 square meters.
Sweden to build cod hatchery facility to strengthen wild stocks
MAT Filtration will build a new RAS hatchery facility to produce cod larvae for release in the Baltic Sea.
 
Nutreco partners to establish land-based Atlantic salmon farming facility in Japan
The company invested in the Norwegian land-based fish farming company, Proximar, that will build a large-scale RAS salmon facility near Mount Fuji to meet the large demand for salmon in Japan.
New EU project to solve RAS farming challenges
The project will test five fish species, salmon, arctic char, seabream, sea bass and Seriola, in RAS facilities and will try to solve different challenges such as microbial management, water quality and fish welfare.
AquaMaof starts construction of RAS facility in Japan
The facility will include a hatchery, nursery and full grow-out areas, as well as management, operational and processing zones.
