Lee Wray-Davies- the Eco-Schools Manager for England at Keep Britain Tidy. Having spent over 20 years working in environmental education in both in the classroom and as an independent consultant, Lee and her team are constantly striving to engage and motivate schools to take part in the Eco-Schools programme. From pre-school to college, from classroom to home schooling the Eco-Schools team in England are always looking to develop and grow the programme to help young people lead environmental change.

Laura Hickey (USA)
Board Director @ Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE)


Laura Hickey retired from the National Wildlife Federation (NWF), the United States’ largest conservation education organization, in 2017 after 31 years, and has been an elected board director for the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) since 2014 with political responsibility for the FEE Eco-Schools’ programme worldwide. At NWF, Laura was the Associate Vice President of Education Programs and was instrumental in the development of the national Eco-Schools USA program (part of FEE’s international Eco-Schools program) launched in the U.S. in November 2009 and currently reaching over 5,300 schools, 135,000 educators and 2.9 million students. She has over forty-five years of project management experience in both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Laura also served on the Steering Committee for the Environmental Paper Network, a coalition of over 100 environmental non-governmental organizations worldwide who focus on transforming the paper industry.

Facilitator of the webinar session, Cindy is the newly appointed General Manager of the Schools and Youth Programme. Cindy has a Masters of Education, particularly focusing on environmental education and education for sustainable development. Cindy-Lee is passionate about social and environmental justice and prides herself on engaging ordinary South Africans on a journey of self-emancipation through the work she does.
