Cupcakes 101
Learn the basics of cupcake decorating from Bonnie, a Wilton method instructor. This virtual class will teach you how to make and prepare icing, basic decorating techniques and demonstrate a few Easter creations. If you want to try your hand on icing cupcakes with the guidance of Bonnie, a supply list will be available for you to obtain what is needed. Learn from the demo and/or give it a try that night. The choice is yours.

Self care is so important for fostering resilience and managing stress.

There’s nothing like a brunch for supper combined with a quick and fun mini self-care workshop! We invite you to discover some new self-care strategies, engage in creating your very own, take home self-care bingo sheet & allow us to cook a meal for you!

Road to Mental Readiness: Phase III – Pre Deployment Workshop
A mental health workshop specifically for families preparing for a deployment. Why is it one minute you can’t stand the thought of your loved one leaving and the next minute you’re kicking them out the door? We will discuss mental health as a continuum, the effects stress can have on a person’s wellness and provide you tools for healthy coping. My Safe Life (virtual)
My Safe Life is a personal safety program designed for children 7-10 years. Traditional gaming, digital media, video, role play and repetition are used to educate and engage children in a fun and interactive manner. Children learn life skills that empower them to make safe, caring and respectful decisions in their everyday lives both online and offline.

Preschool Program Video Series
Join us for our March Preschool Program Video Series where we’ll be marking the arrival of spring with some fun and easy activities about wind, bugs, and gardening! We’ll also be doing a few special activities to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and Dr. Seuss’s birthday!
Videos will be posted Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on the Shilo MFRC Facebook page and will feature activities you can do with materials found in your own home.
