It's winter at Hameau Farm, but spring will be here before we know it!
Although I love painting snow in the serenity of my home studio, I can't help but daydream of my return to Hameau Farm in spring. This 2021 will be our 23rd annual retreat, welcoming back Hameau alumni and greeting new attendees. It will be our goal to create another safe artist retreat in a flourishing environment with Covid protocols in place. Register here.
We always plan ahead, and we need you to, as well.
May and September dates for the Artist Retreat are booked with the farm's owner, Audrey Gay Rodgers, and she looks forward to selecting and preparing her special meals for the attending artists. The spacious Hameau Kitchen allows for Covid-safe serving of meals.
You won't want to miss the Friday Sunset Paint Out with musician, Richard Sleigh, serenading the artists as we paint. This always books fast, so plan ahead and register early.

Anna Crane has been Susan's assistant for over ten years and has done an exceptional job. Susan credits her organizational skills in the success of recent Hameau Retreats. In 2014, Anna graduated from Penn State with a BFA in Drawing and Painting with Honors and a minor in Art History. Anna tracks the registration of all artists attending the retreat.
