Trish talks about what's groundbreaking about cohousing. She also shares how this form of intentional community has personally impacted her family and neighbors. Trish is an educator, activist, parent and a cohousing community co-founder.

We're getting the details finalized for receiving your photos this summer--photos that say "community" and "cohousing" for you, whether it's a picnic scene, people gardening together, meeting in a circle, dancing--whatever fits for you. Start snapping those photos, looking through photos you've already taken, and plan to contribute to this collaborative vision board for an online showcase later this year. TCCN Board statement on confronting white supremacy
We, the board of Twin Cities Cohousing Network, have been meeting to talk about and process what the killing of George Floyd and the world-wide anger and opportunity for global change means to us and to Twin Cities Cohousing Network. We want to listen, respond, and be part of the solution.
The mission of TCCN is to conduct education, outreach and engagement with individuals, families and organizations in order to advance the development of high quality, sustainable cohousing communities in the Greater Twin Cities area.
We recognize that this mission has been primarily accessible to middle-class white people, and needs to be reconsidered and become accessible to all.
As a start, we--as individuals and as a board--are committed to educating ourselves about racism and white supremacy. Here are some resources that we have looked at lately.
