You Never Know What Will Come Up!!

I love doing Animal Communication sessions! I meet the nicest people and animals. You never know what will come up. Sometimes it’s a surprise like when Finn, a Boston Terrier, recently told me he was having a problem in his top left jaw. Here’s what Amy, his “Mom”, had to say about her Animal Communication session:

“I was referred to Jacqui by a dear friend of mine.  I really did not know what to expect and to be quite honest, I did it "for fun" and to hope to have a good, heartwarming story that I could share about my rescued Boston Terrier, Finn, who I have had the honor of loving for the past 8 1/2 years.

He has always been such a character, but was obviously very affected, in many ways, by what had transpired with him before he came into my life.  Finn had a lot to say to Jacqui when they spoke.  I am so glad that he felt comfortable enough to tell her about his past and how he feels about me and his two furry brothers.  He also expressed how happy he was to have started doing scentwork recently (something that was not relayed to Jacqui by me).

One of the last things that Jacqui told me was that Finn wanted me to know that he was healthy, but he was having some pain in an upper tooth on his left side.  I check my dogs teeth regularly, but with Bostons because their mouths are so small and their teeth are crowded, the back teeth are extremely hard to see without literally prying their mouths open. I brushed it off during our conversation because again, I thought that I kept up with their dental hygiene pretty well.

A few hours after my conversation with Jacqui, I just decided to look at his teeth.  I could not believe it.  Finn had a tooth that was loose and had rotted and appeared to be infected.  It was a tooth on the upper, left side of his mouth.   I immediately called my vet to get him in for an appointment the following day.  My vet agreed it needed to come out ASAP. He was in shock when I told him how it was discovered. If it had not been for Jacqui relaying Finn's message, I would have never known he was in pain or worse what could have happened if that tooth had caused further infections elsewhere.

Jacqui, I may not be able to talk to Finn like you did, but I am sure that I speak for him as well when I say thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.”

Love Never Dies

Our loved ones are truly only a thought away. You can still see their smiling faces, hear their laugh, feel them sit on the bed, smell their favorite perfume or cologne, or hear the pitter patter of feet in the hall and tags jingling. You can swear you saw them out of the corner of your eye. It doesn’t matter if they passed over last year, or more than 20 years ago. You will always be connected by the love that you share.

As they did when they were physical, they like spending time with the people they love. In fact, they stay abreast of everything that goes on in our lives in their absence. It is often their whisper or nudge that moves us in the right direction. And you thought it was your idea!

Valentine’s Day always makes us think of the family and friends we love. It’s the perfect time to reach out and, once again, make that heart-to-heart connection with the people, or animals, you love on the other side!

Celebrate “National Love Your Pet Day!”

OK, I realize they are not children, but for many of us, our beloved pets are truly family. For years when asked how many kids I had, I’d whip out my “brag book” with photos of my five big dogs!

On February 20th, pet lovers everywhere will observe National Love Your Pet Day. This holiday focuses on giving extra attention to our pets. It’s a day that encourages pampering our pets (aka spoiling them rotten) and focusing on the special relationship our animals hold in our lives.

Luckily, with many people working from home these days and kids doing more home-schooling as they rotate in and out of classes, our pets are getting more of the attention they love and crave. Whether it’s a dog, cat, horse, reptile or bunny, this bond of love has been so healing for the whole family during these uncertain times. There certainly has been an explosion of new puppies and kittens bringing joy to families everywhere.

Four Ways to Celebrate National Love Your Pet Day:

1.    Give Them Special Toys. Pets love to play.
2.    Bake Some Homemade Treats. Nothing says I love you like homemade             pet treats.
3.    Schedule a 'Spaw' Day. Give your pet the full 'spaw' treatment!
4.    Spotlight Your Pet on Social Media.
