Hey Pythonista,

As passionate as we are about Python / development, there is no denying that soft skills (we actually prefer to call them leadership skillsare paramount to getting ahead as a professional developer and in life.

One core skill is to become an essentialist, brilliantly covered in McKeown's book Essentialism.

In today's information overloaded and interruptive society it's very challenging to work on your OWN things first.

Hence you need to set boundaries. If you don't, somebody else inevitably will do it for you and it's not likely that will be in YOUR best interest!

In this week's PyBites Podcast episode we talk about how to say NO and give you some practical tips on how to get better at it so you'll free up space to get closer to YOUR goals.

(Or just hit refresh in your favorite podcast app, being subscribed you'll never miss an episode ...)

Enjoy and don't hesitate to hit us up here or on Slack. We'd love to talk with you and hear if this helped you and/or if after listening, it still seems an insurmountable thing for you...

Happy Listening!
