Starting April 1, 2021 PRAC and Central Counties Tourism will extend Snap a Selfie to facebook!

Visit the sculptures in your Durham neighbourhood, take a selfie with one or more and post on your Instagram page with  #sculpturesofdurham for a chance to win $50 from PRAC plus CCT will award another photographer a $50 gift certificate for the Durham restaurant or retailer of their choice!


AND now there is a chance for facebook fans to win too!

Include #contestPRAC to enter our online photo contest. Photographer must be:

over 18 years of age
resident of Ontario
follow PRAC on Instagram
and tag two friends.

Maximum two photos per photographer per theme. At the end of the month PRAC will select the post with the most likes and award the photographer $50.

Meet the Sculptor André Fournelle


Gate to the Future by Quebec sculptor André Fournelle at Durham College was dedicated on April 18, 2013. It aims to be a visual reference and focal point at the Oshawa campus. The sculpture embodies the harmonious relationship between art and technology, form and function.

Then she will focus on the creative process that will empower you with a toolbox of new techniques as well as a new perspective to approach your creative journey and tap the artist in you.  The goal of the workshop is to have fun while allowing your art to emerge naturally.
