NMCS Students Celebrate Black History Month


Our 78 students (onsite daily) from ages 3 to 13 are engaged in a variety of craft, story and research projects to celebrate Black History Month.

It’s a perfect time to tell you about our busy Teen Clinic and Teen Peer Health Promotors (PHP) Our eight trained PHPs have been busy on social media connecting young adults to our mental, physical, and reproductive health resources. Check out our Teen Clinic’s Instagram, where teens click on a QR code to instantly make an appointment with us! View recent posts, including PHP Project 9: “Do’s and Don’ts for respecting sexual identity and gender expression”.

Since July 1st we’ve served 226 teens and young adults (aged 12-25)!


We’re ensuring our transitional age youth have access safe, high-quality, virtual and in-person services throughout this pandemic.

We're Here to Help.

Need help with your taxes? NMCS is partnering with AARP to help seniors and low-income families prepare and file their taxes. NMCS is providing safe, outdoor work stations at our 1907 Novato Blvd. building from February 15 to April 15, by appointment.

Our clients & services

We are a comprehensive human service nonprofit organization which provides educational, enrichment and support services to residents in North Marin, CA. Annually 8,380 youth, adults, seniors and families receive support, with an emphasis on serving those in-need.
