Expert Patients Programme (EPP) - Volunteer EPP Course Tutor

Do you have a long-term health condition?

Then join our Expert Patients Programme - a free course for any adult living with, or caring for someone with, one or more long-term health conditions in Croydon.

The free six-week course is designed to help you find solutions to common problems and covers a range of topics including managing symptoms and stress, healthy eating and activities.
Home-Start Croydon is a voluntary home visiting organisation offering emotional and practical support to families with at least one child under five, additional support groups and support for families with children with additional needs

Parent Champion
Parent Champions are ordinary Mothers, Fathers and Carers who have experience of using childcare and family services
Handyperson Volunteer
Use your practical skills to help a charity that offers regular support, friendship and practical help to families with young children, preventing family crisis or breakdown
Home-Visiting Support
We are looking for volunteers with an understanding of being a parent to provide informal, friendly emotional support and practical help to families with at least one child under the age of five
Safe Families is offering support, hope and belonging to improve the lives of those in our communities. We link children, young people and families with local volunteers who can offer them help and support

Connect Friend
Connect Friend volunteers will be providing virtual befriending and emotional support to parents, children or young people; maintaining friendly contact with families to help them feel connected and to reduce isolation
MIND in Croydon is working to promote good mental health. It seeks to empower people to lead a full life as part of their local community

Volunteers needed to help with
COVID Lateral flow test
Beckmead Trust have 8 Special school sites around Croydon 
Locations:
Shirley, Central Croydon, South Norwood, South Croydon, New Addington

We are in need of volunteers to complete our COVID Lateral flow testing.  
The testing takes place 3 times a week at each site. 
Full Training will be given

If you have a current DBS check this will be preferable.

Lateral flow testing of school staff has been implemented to ensure our Schools are a safe place to work and study.
