Smithville will be discontinuing our Streaming TV service effective February 15, 2021.
Since 2009, the cost for Smithville to provide streaming TV service has increased by more than 1,200%. This is why we will be discontinuing our streaming TV service effective February 15, 2021. You can continue to receive internet, smart home, and telephone services from Smithville.
This will only be affecting your Smithville Streaming TV service, using the “YourTV” app. We are not changing or removing any other Smithville services. Your other streaming services, such as Hulu, Netflix, and HBO Max, etc. will NOT be impacted by this change and WILL continue to work on our internet service if you subscribe to them.
We understand that this is an inconvenience and that's why we are offering an alternative. You still have time to make the switch to DISH.
