Issue 39

Hello <<First Name>>,

"Love is...." Do you remember those newspaper cartoons?
Readers of a certain vintage may remember! If not, Google it to discover the treasures within!

They remind us, that Love is present in many different ways...
A gesture, a word, a smile, a smell, a wink...

This week, let us be aware of the Love that surrounds us.

FAITH GATHERINGS

Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Jesus’ compassion for people’s suffering was an outstanding characteristic of his ministry. We see the healing power of God at work through him.

Recall times when the compassion of others has had a healing effect on you. Remember also when your compassion towards someone in trouble brought them hope, healing or strength.

Prayer
God of grace, you call us to freedom and to love. Show us how we can be both loving and free, for the building up of our neighbour and for your greater glory. Amen.

(adapted from reflections on the Gospel by Kieran O’Mahony OSA, www.tarsus.ie )
Tune in to the webcam before 11:30am Mass to hear the welcome.
