14th February 10:30am Rev Michael Chester will take us to Sin City Acts 18:1-16. During this service there will be a family breakout (link given in the session).

Celebration of Worship & Preaching
At 3pm on Sunday 14th February there will be a Circuit Celebration of worship and preaching, including the admission of Victoria Etherington as a Local Preacher. Ash Wednesday
An Ash Wednesday Morning Prayer will be held at 9.00am (17th February) on zoom. Participants may like to find a small pebble and/ or a cup or sand to have with them during the service. For the link please contact ruth.duck@methodist.org.uk

Church Council
The next Southlands Church Council meeting will be on Thursday 25th February at 7.30pm and will be held virtually over Zoom. A number, to join in by phone, will be supplied for those not on zoom.
ONE Family
Benny, our fabulous visitor from Pebbles playgroup "helps" us make pancakes in this month's session. The video will be available a little earlier on the ONE Family section of the Circuit Website so you can join in on Shrove Tuesday if you wish. Join in our rainbow games and prayers as we celebrate the world we live in through the story of Noah. The team have taken photos of some interesting concoctions of pancake toppings - why not send us a picture of yours! Send them to lorraine.jones@methodistyouth.org.uk.

Flowers
Reminder to please make some colourful 2D paper flowers to go in the church windows at the start of March. Any size, up to A4. I've been asked for some flower templates. HERE and HERE are 2 examples, but there are lots more if you search "flower template" in images on google. Please send them to Naomi at 1 Norfolk St by 1st March.

Praying for our Circuit
The church on the Circuit Prayer Rota for 14th February is Sheriff Hutton. Let us thank God for the work of God in that place, and pray for the church as they consider how best to respond to God's call at this time.
