Ash Wednesday is This Week - Two Services Available!
On February 17th, we celebrate Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday, is one of the most important days in the church calendar as we are reminded of our humanity with the words, “remember that you are dust and to dust you shall return.”
- Noon - Drive In Service. Similar to Drive In Communion, but at the end you will get the imposition of ashes. Drive into the church parking lot and set your FM Radio to 88.1.
- 7:00pm - Drive In and Streamed Service. You can either watch/listen to the worship service by parking your car in the church parking lot, or stay at home to receive your ashes. Imposition of ashes will take place after the service drive in style (similar to Drive In Communion). We also have at-home Ash Wednesday packages (similar to Christmas Eve) available now in the Narthex.
- Pastor Tim will not be bringing ashes out into the community due to Covid, but if you would like a zoom or phone call on that day please call our church office in order to set up a time when we can visit.
In-person Worship is suspended at this time due to a high number of Covid cases.
There will be announcement during this Sunday's Worship Stream at 10am.
We do need readers for the services. If you would like to read either from the pulpit or from the safety of your home (you will need to video yourself), please signup.
