Testify or Submit Comments On Third-Party Solar

Click the image for info & a link to testify, here is why it is important to-do so:
  • This decision is critical in determining the legality of Third-Party Solar in Wisconsin.
  • Environmental Justice: Third-Party financing gives low-income individuals & organizations the option to install solar with no upfront payment and to take advantage of federal tax credits for projects. This reduces financial barriers for BIPOC families, businesses, and community organizations to install rooftop solar.
  • Climate Impact: Every state in the top 10 for rooftop & small-scale solar allows for third-party ownership. For example, in New Jersey, 83% of the residential solar systems installed over the last four years are third-party owned.

Take the Equity Challenge

Click the image to take the challenge from the United Way of Wisconsin:
  • Participants receive an email each week through Monday, June 21st
  • Weekly topics explore internalized racism, how racism permeates person-to-person interactions, and institutions & social structures.
  • The experience is intended to deepen understanding, suggest ways to take action, and help launch what we hope will be a lifelong commitment to improving equity and inclusion in our communities.

Express Gratitude

Click the image for instructions, here is why we are giving thanks:
  • The Climate Action Campaign (CAC) is producing a series of thank you videos to thank President Biden for his climate-focused executive orders
  • The Biden administration is already acting on climate, protecting public lands, and creating good-paying jobs by rejoining the Paris Agreement, instating a national climate task force, and prioritizing environmental justice.
  • CAC will edit our clips together into a cohesive video to share on social media. The goal is to show broad health sector support for Biden’s actions, this will also help encourage further climate policy.
