Hey gang, Tom here.

It's our 10th anniversary this year! Couldn't have picked a better time.... But we wouldn't be the Paddyhats if we didn't make a virtue out of necessity. So we made a perfidious plan with our record company. We will release something new this year. Insane, isn't it? We can't reveal much yet. But: there's something to watch and listen to.

And here´s something that exclusively concerns you, dear gang. For about two years now I've been buttering you up on a regular basis and we've gone through ups and downs as a gang during this time. Whereby the last depth still hangs on me a little bit. It should be over quickly in favor of live concerts. So, we have really experienced a lot together. I was always good to you and you were always good to me. As a band, we've been thinking about how we can strengthen this intimate connection even more. We've collected so incredibly much really good and fun material in ten years. Plus, there's still plenty of unreleased material and goodies that we'd like to pass on to you. But preparing all that is a bit more time-consuming and complex. That's why we are still thinking about the best way to do it. For this we need your help. What is going on here?

Did you know that...

we are celebrating our 10th anniversary this year? From 2009 to 2011 Sean and Dwight (Attention! Side fun fact: Sean and Dwight are actually named Franz and Tim (O'Reilly)) were still performing as a duo. Together with first bassist Paddy and violinist Emily O'Farrell, they came up with the idea to form the Paddyhats. Then they were joined by Dr. Bones on drums and Zack O'Hara on guitar. Boom...the Paddyhats were born. The first music video was actually the most successful in 10 years of band history. Do you have an idea which one it could be? Here's a hint, it just hit the 30 million views mark on YouTube.
