Special Interest Group (SIGs)
Are you concerned about the direction in which our country is headed? Do you feel that grassroots efforts can make a difference? If yes, then please consider contributing your talents and skills in one or more of CCMF’s SIGs. There are many different ways to participate and, whatever you do, you’ll find it rewarding to be working with life-minded souls in effective, powerful ways that make a real difference in what happens in our county and our state.
"Please consider joining a SIG! You do not have to be afraid that you are not an expert on anything. You do not have to be afraid that you will be asked to spend hours & hours doing this or that. You participate at the level that's right for you. By simply listening-in meetings you will: learn a lot; become a more-informed voter; be able to educate others when an opportunity arises in casual conversation. Best of all, you will not be judged if you are not able to do anything more than listen. We are building a community, a safe place for us to grow."
- Sandy Malamed, CCMF member

PA Democracy

The PA Democracy SIG is focused on strengthening democracy in Pennsylvania.  Democracy in our very own state is under attack. This group will form alliances with like-minded organizations across the state so we can mount large, powerful, grassroots efforts to counter voter suppression, gerrymandering, and other anti-democratic bills that are pushed forward in darkness by the Republican majority in the state legislature. We’ll work with the Voter Education and Voter Outreach SIGs to raise awareness and engage voters so we elect progressive candidates who care about the well-being of our people. This is a new SIG, so meeting structure will be determined together. For more information and to sign up, please email Andrea & Karen, our SIG Leaders.

"Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love."
