Lent
On Tuesday evenings in Lent, why not join the Contemplative Prayer Group (by Zoom)? The sessions are around 20 minutes. Contemplative Prayer is a real gift to the church and its aim is straightforward: closer union with God. If you would like to participate please email Revd Mark.

Stations of the Cross
The Stations of the Cross are now up in St Laurence Church. Please stay safe and do not try to cross the tape.

Five booklets are there for people to use, and, this year, take away. You can also download a copy to view on your phone or click here for a printable version.

Book Group
Living with the Psalms by John Bell is the current book for our Book Group. We shall meet by Zoom on 12 April at 6.45pm to chat about what we thought of it. Newcomers are always welcome to join us generally or, if you fancy, just for one meeting. If you would like to know more please contact Didier at didier@winslowbenefice.org.uk.

Easter lillies
The flower group will be decorating the church for Easter. If you would like to make a donation towards some Easter lilies in memory of a loved one, please put it in an envelope and deliver it to 1 Chequers End, Winslow.
Many thanks, Cathy Ryalls

#FaithTalks - What's the difference?

Read the transcript
How does faith shape us?
'Lent is about becoming, doing, changing, whatever it is that is blocking the fulness of life in us right now.'

'Lent is a call to renew a commitment grown dull. perhaps by a life marked more by routine than by reflection.'

- Sister Joan Chittister OSB

Readings

Readings for Sunday:
1 Corinthians 1.18-25
John 2.13-22

For reflection and prayer:
The Bible calls Ephesians 4.25-end Rules for the New Life. What spiritual values - perhaps even surprising ones - can you identify? How do these values compare with your understanding of what it means to live the Christian Life?

Click here for the week's readings.
