Volunteer Spotlight!
Meet Kristen Tratchet!
-How long have you been volunteering at Potosi? I’ve been volunteering at Potosi since I was in middle school!
-Why is this ministry important to you? It is super important to me that there is a space and a place anyone can go to where they are connected to the earth, themselves, and kind people around! There’s no other place like camp, its memories held for a lifetime.
-What's your favorite camp activity? My favorite camp activity is "Morning Watch". sitting together with the mountains all around and filling up with sunlight is the best way to start any day!
-What is the best part of being a camp counselor? The best thing about being a camp counselor is making friends with campers and helping them have the best time at camp!!
-What is your favorite camp song? Hands down my favorite camp song is "An Austrian Went Yodeling"! I love the part where it goes “An Austrian went yodeling on a mountain top high, and along came a cuckoo bird!” All the silly hand motions are the best!
-Do you like s' mores? Yes!! But only gluten-free ones for me! (I love that the camp always has GF supplies ready!)
-Your best advice for new campers? Advice for new campers is that camp is a special time to leave everything that hurts or aches down the mountain, we’re here and now and we’re going to have such a good time at camp.
-Your best advice for returning campers? Returning campers... remember your water bottle and that you can use a camp prayer even at home. Bring the place that gives you peace with you everywhere you go.

March Volunteer Workday was a HUGE Success!!
Thanks to the nearly 60 volunteers who camp out on March 6th to help us clean, paint, clean, organize, haul, scrape, and spruce-up! They all worked so hard, we finished our wish list of chores and added more. It was a great day and camp was so blessed by the many hands who helped make our camp sparkle!

Ladies! "It's Time" for us to gather for the annual Women's Retreat! It will look a little different this year (as so many things have) but it will still be a great time for us all! Mark your calendars, set your alarms, and get registered today! We will be limiting numbers so we can meet safely, so don't wait. Here's a hint- let your families know, this would make a great Mother's Day gift!!

It's here!! Click the button below to listen to our first "Conversation from the Invisible Bench!" This first one is targeted at our campers, encouraging them to plan a campfire for their family. It was planned and put together by our "Counselors 4 Christ" teen leaders! You can download the audio file to your phone and listen in the car or on the go. We hope this will be another fun way we can stay connected to our camp family! Wisdom from Rocky
Rocky has been the camp cat at Potosi for 12+ years. He knows at the end of each camp we ask all the campers to finish the quote "Because of camp..." He thought it would be great to share his own twist on that. Here are Rocky's "Because of CAMPERS..." quotes.
