The COVID-19 outbreak presented all leaders with far more than a problem to solve. It gave us a dilemma. You can’t really “solve” a dilemma but you can flip it. Bob Johansen, author of Leaders Make the Future defines dilemma flipping as reframing an unsolvable challenge as an opportunity. At St. Michael’s we reframed the COVID challenge with an opportunity for PODZ – Parish Outreach Dedicated by Zip Code.

Anglican Women's Gathering, April 24

Anglican Women's Postcard
The Anglican Women will have their Annual Gathering at Christ Church, Mt. Pleasant, Saturday, April 24 from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Joanne Ellison, of Drawing Near to God Ministry, is the keynote speaker and she will be teaching on “Faith Moving Forward: ‘Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes will He find faith on the earth?’” (Luke 18:8). 

On April 1 we will open up registration to our sisters in the ACNA.  Ladies from the Diocese of the Carolinas and the Reformed Episcopal Church will be invited to register for any remaining seats.  If you are planning to attend, please register BEFORE April 1. The registration deadline is April 16.   Learn more. and register.

Keep the Bishop Search Committee in your prayers as they continue the process of discerning who God is calling to serve as the next Bishop of our Diocese.  Anyone inside or outside the diocese may suggest a person for consideration as a bishop coadjutor. March 5-6, Zoom DOK Retreat with Barr and LeMarquand


All are welcome to join the Spring Retreat on Zoom for the Daughters of the King. On Friday night a time of prayer for the persecuted church will be led by Bishop Grant LeMarquand and on Saturday the Rev. Dr. John Barr will be speaking on the Gospel of John. The Call Retreat

A Retreat for Vocational Discernment, June 24-27

Do you know someone who is discerning his/her call? Urge them to apply to attend The Call. 
The Call is a retreat aimed at young adults who are listening for the call of the Lord and considering whether that vocation might be to full-time ministry. There is no cost to attend the retreat, and meals for the weekend are included.
