Greetings, Pacific Northwest Key Clubbers!

What is your morning routine? If you struggle to wake up in the mornings, it can significantly impact your spirit throughout the rest of the day. Now that the sun comes out a little earlier each morning, you will want to take full advantage of the daylight. Waking up with regularity will allow you to be productive, including fulfilling your Key Club responsibilities. To read more about setting a successful morning routine, please click on the article below from Swift Kick. Swift Kick recommends the following three tips and tricks when adopting a new morning routine:

  1. Wake up and stay up.
  2. Stretch.
  3. Drink at least 16 ounces of water.

This week, PNW Key Club is spotlighting Division 54 for their exceptional service in our What’s Poppin’ PNW program. Here is a word from Lieutenant Governor of Division 54 Aliya Lisle: “Hey y’all, it’s your Division 54 Lieutenant Governor Aliya Lisle. I just want to say how proud I am of all my clubs that have found ways to stay active through this pandemic. Your creativity with how you execute your events is inspiring. Southridge High School managed to sort foods at Second Harvest. Hanford High School hosted a coat and sock drive and stuffed a bus full of coats for Coats For Kids. Each member in this division is so hard working and dedicated to service. Staying active during a pandemic is truly an accomplishment. Thanks for your dedication - Aliya.”

What’s Poppin’ PNW

As a proud partner of the Thirst Project, PNW Key Club is incredibly excited to announce that as a district we have fundraised a total of nearly $100,000 in three years. Thank you so much for your contributions to fighting the global water crisis. This year alone, we have fundraised $19,068.01. In addition, congratulations are in order to Governor John R. Rogers High School in Division 30 for their outstanding donation of $715 recently. If you have donations you need to submit on behalf of your Key Club, you can donate using PNW Key Club Shop on the PNW Key Club Website by March 31, 2021 or the end of the service year. The PNW Key Club Shop is currently under maintenance, and it will be up and running once again shortly. By donating to the Thirst Project, you help bring clean water to community members in the Kingdom of Eswatini, Africa. To learn more about PNW Key Club’s efforts to help end the global water crisis, please visit the Thirst Project webpage on the PNW Key Club Website linked below.
