Rowan (they/them) has served as the minister for Christian Formation for Children and Youth and the Parish Administrator at Grace Episcopal Church in Newton, MA since the fall of 2018.
They are a transplant to the Boston area, having graduated from Union Theological Seminary in New York City with their M.Div. in May 2018. Rowan has a particular interest in formation of children, youth, and young adults (though they firmly maintain that formation doesn’t end after graduating from high school!) and theology of and for LGBTQ+ people of all ages. Rowan is a candidate for the priesthood in the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts
When not at Grace, Rowan can be found hanging out with horses at the barn they ride at, knitting, quilting, or otherwise crafting, or playing Dungeons and Dragons with some of their colleagues in ministry.
