In this second presentation of the Midwest Native Gardening Basics series, you will learn about native plants that bring year-round beauty. No matter your gardening experience or the conditions of your yard, native plants have a place. Landscape designer Denise Sandoval will share design tips as well as a helpful handout to take away. Garden for Nature Grant Programs

 

Time to get your application in for the Garden for Nature grant program. Grants ranging from $100 to $1,000 are available for community native plant gardens in western Cook County. Applications are due March 15. Decisions to be announced April 15. See our website for details and links to the application form.

If spring is in the air, the West Cook Wild Ones plant sale is coming soon. Once again we will offer a range of plants for sun or shade and pre-assembled kits for easy start up. Watch our Facebook page and website for an announcement of the shop site's opening later this month.
