It's been a while, and it's great to be back. Hibernation might have kicked in a little early for some of us. Other's have been participating in our ongoing Zwift series -
and you can too!
Sure. So far, 2021 doesn't feel too different from 2020, but it's March, which is the worst month of the year (no offense, March birthdays), and we have some exciting news to share with you!
A New Website

Renew Your Membership (Automatically!)
It's a new year (finally!), so it's a perfect time to renew your NCC Membership. We know, it can be hard to remember if you did it or not - you've got work, kids, and hypoxia from that last virtual TT. So now you'll never need to remember again.
Renew on the new (*ahem*) website and it'll walk you through the steps to create an account and set up the auto-renew feature. We're not just going to charge your card every year and not tell you - you'll get a couple reminders before that happens.
Looking Ahead
We need ride leaders...we hope! There's cautious optimism permeating the Club that we'll be able to do some in-person events. They won't be like in years past; those massive 50-person Wednesday Night Ride rollouts are on hold until 2022 at least. But as the Spring and Summer progress and vaccine distribution ramps up, we're actively looking at creative ways to have fun in person. Take a look at Our Call for Ride Leaders and reach out to John Coffey to be a part of getting the "community" part of this great Club of ours.
Time Trials and Hill Climbs
These events are happening IN REAL LIFE! Time trials and hill climbs are generally races that don't feel good - but this year they're going to feel great. But this is cycling; there are rules. And there are extra rules because of COVID, but we are so excited to see you from at least six feet away. **If you are interested in participating, we urge you to
read the announcement on our website.** It provides specifics on the safety measures in place and how the events will function more generally this year.
Kit Order
The Spring 2021 Kit Store is OPEN. But you need to be a member to buy it. We say that every year, but we mean it this year, because we've put it behind the Account login.
Click here to access the details. From there, if you've already renewed, just log in and all the info you need will become available. If you haven't renewed yet, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better time...the store closes on March 29th!
Member Meeting
This is a virtual event. Sorry - no great local beer this year, other than what you've got in the fridge. And if you don't have anything in the fridge, here's a great excuse to go support a local brewery or vineyard. Anyway, join us for a virtual get together where we tackle some club business and catch up as much as possible.
