Outdoor Church...

We had planned on having outdoor church this Sabbath, but due to inclement weather, our worship service will be held, as usual, in the sanctuary. The next outdoor church will be determined at a later date, as the weather improves.

******************
Sabbath School begins promptly at 10:30am and divine worship service begins at 11:30am. We look forward to seeing our church family! If you cannot join us in person, we are streaming online and you can join us there. Either way, we look forward to worshipping with you this Sabbath.

SUNSET
The Sabbath is God’s perpetual sign of His eternal covenant between Him and His people. Joyful observance of this holy time from evening to evening, sunset to sunset, is a celebration of God’s creative and redemptive acts.

Sunset Friday, March 5:   6:28pm
Sunset Sabbath, March 6:  6:29pm

Tina Ephraim - March 6
Christine Sewbaluck - March 8

SICK & SHUT IN
If you know of a member who is shut-in and needs some cheering up, please send us their name and phone number and with their permission, we will list their name and contact information so that we all can reach out to them. Let's shower them with love this upcoming week and let them know just how much we miss them, and pray for God's healing hand.

COMMUNION SERVICE
Our next communion service will be held on Sabbath, March 27 during worship service in the sanctuary.  For families who would like to participate in the communion service virtually, it will be live streamed and we will be offering pre-made sealed communion service kits (juice & bread) that can be picked up at the church on Sabbaths, March 6, 13 and 20. During the week, they will be available for pick up on Mondays - March 8, 15 and 22  from 11am to 3pm; Fridays - March 12, 19 and 26, from 9am to 11am; or Tuesday, March 23 between 5 and 7pm.

How to prepare for communion?

  1. Examine yourself to see if you are in sin, either a known sin or perhaps something you are unaware of. This means to pause to consider your life. How are you treating the people close to you? How are you treating those in the congregation? With indifference? With selfishness? With disrespect?
  2. Confess any sins, known sin or sins that God brings to mind as you are examining yourself.
  3. Repent of these sins and resolve to take immediate steps to correct your actions or make amends, if you are able.
  4. Accept God's forgiveness. This time of self-reflection and repentance is not to give Satan permission to continually beat you up over sins of the past. Accept and believe in God's promises of forgiveness. We don't look backward -- our sins have been forgiven. We look forward to living with God the day ahead of us.

"For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes" (1 Corinthians 11:26).

TAILGATE LUNCH
What are your lunch plans for third Sabbath, March 20? Please come join us at our next Tailgate Lunch, immediately following service in the church parking lot. Bring lunch for your family and comfortable chairs or a picnic blanket and enjoy fellowshipping with your church family.

PRAYER MINISTRY
"God has established prayer as the means by which we receive his supernatural help. And without supernatural help, we cannot live a life worthy of the gospel. Everything that distinguishes Christians from the world in a Christ-exalting way is a work of God’s supernatural grace. And God has ordained that this grace flows to us through prayer." (www.desiringgod.org)

Enter your Prayer Requests on the church website and our prayer warriors will pray for you! Experience the power of your church family praying on your behalf. The Prayer Ministry Team also has a prayer call for anyone wanting special prayer every Sabbath.
