FitT INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

At FitT, we’ve always championed women to be the best version of themselves. Given the year we’ve just had, and are continuing to experience the effects of, being ourselves has been that little bit harder to portray. Whether it's a (cringe worthy) zoom call, putting our hat in the ring for a job, or just having to see ourselves more through a screen, it can sometimes feel like it’s all too hard.

So let this International Women’s Day in 2021 be the one that focuses on you. Join us (and we really mean it) in person or online, as we take you through how to transition this somewhat ‘meh’ you energy into:

You – in your most put together face, and
You – in launching that side hustle that’s been brewing all year.

Paul Sproule

Paul’s been videoing corporates and people for the last 15 years. His expertise, storytelling, and putting the wow into video will help us better understand the ins and outs as he takes us through how to create that compelling video CV or video cover letter. Finding work during a time of candidate saturation in a very small marketplace means it’s time we transitioned our paper CV and cover letter into that authentically ‘you’ video application.

Deepika will take us through the essential tools needed to launch your side hustle.

Forced within the confines of our homes for work has given us some thinking time, and no doubt some of that was dedicated to doing our own thing. So if you were one of those with a creative flair for being your own boss one day and doing something different to your day job, this session is not to be missed. Deepika will share the essential tools to help you get set up and be the boss lady.

Did you ever wonder (assuming you’re like most of the FitT crew and needing lots of help with makeup) ‘if I could only afford 5 minutes in total, what are the game changing makeup tips and tricks to survive looking at myself on video for the whole meeting?’ And, beyond this, ‘what’s going to help me look put together and ready for an amazing meeting that looks like I mean business and in the driver’s seat?’.

This session is one not to miss because as we all know, appearances count. In a virtual setting, it’s the image that comes across before the person, and we are spending more time than ever showing ourselves through lens and on screen.
