It’s been a while…

It has been a while since you’ve seen a newsletter from me, hasn’t it?

First and foremost, I hope this finds you healthy and safe wherever you are. The future is starting to look bright again… let’s keep all of our fingers and all of our toes crossed for a little bit of normal, soon!

It’s been SO long since I’ve sent you a proper newsletter, and it’s impossible to catch up on what’s happened all at once, so I’m just going to share some highlights. Here’s about 1% of what you may have missed over on PhotoJoseph.com and the YouTube channel!

For those following me on twitter, you may have seen that I’ve started moving a nearly 200,000 image library over to Lightroom. I have a LOT to report on this… it’s a work in progress, but we’re getting there.

Live stream schedule…

The LIVE schedule tends to fluctuate a bit, but normally I alternate between 9am on Tuesdays and 8pm on Wednesdays (Pacific time). If you haven’t seen one in a while, you can catch up on all previous shows here, and just head to the YouTube channel to see when the next one will be (I should be there this Tuesday, although I haven’t scheduled it yet)

Fresh on the Insta…

Since I haven’t been traveling (for obvious reasons!), I haven’t shared much of anything at all on my Instagram. But I started sharing long-forgotten pictures from my visit to Jeju, South Korea in 2015; specifically its famous local food markets. I plan to keep posting photos daily, so do check those out and if you’re not already following, please remedy that! 😊

India in 2021? It could happen…

Yes, it’s a long shot. But, I have a little bit of hope that the amazing India photo adventure to the Pushkar Camel Fair that we had to cancel in 2020 might, just might, happen in 2021. It’s not until November and the vaccines are getting more and more plentiful, so we’ll see. You can read last year’s plan on the India page, which will largely be the same for this year… or whenever it happens!

What else, what’s next…

2020 was a huge year for the PhotoJoseph brand. In addition to all the YouTube videos, I’ve been hosting a ton of free webinars for DxO on PhotoLab, the Nik Collection, and more… I’ve created content for ATOMOS on timecode, for LumaTouch on LumaFusion, Panasonic on the LUMIX S5, and Mevo on the Mevo Start, among others!

2021 will be even bigger, with lots of projects in the queue already, plus I’ve been building a team to help with the YouTube channel, social media, and even these newsletters. Wish me luck, and I hope to see you on the site soon!
