Cycle 2 of our National Online Group Mentoring starts Monday 22nd March and runs for 6 weekly sessions through to the 13th May. Don't miss out!
Dear Friends,
We know how valuable it can be for our Autistic young people to be able to connect with peers and mentors in a safe, fun and supportive space where they can just be themselves.
Our next cycle of Autistic-led online group mentoring starts the week of Monday 22nd March and runs for 6 weekly sessions (due to public holidays, this particular cycle will run over 8 weeks, through the week of 13th May).
We offer sessions for young people ages 9-20 in Australia and New Zealand.
In addition to our longstanding groups that are organised by age cohorts, we also have interest-based groups around Minecraft, Anime, Animals and ‘Screens, Tunes & Characters’ where young people can come together over shared passions.
Additionally, we offer groups for Autistic LQBTIQA+ teens (ages 13-17) as well as an online version of our I CAN Imagination Club®, which is designed for participants ages 9 – 12 who may/may not have an Autism (or other) diagnosis or may be unaware of their diagnosis.
“WE DO FUN ACTIVITIES AND CHECK UP ON EACH OTHER EVERY WEEK
ON HOW WE GOING AT SCHOOL AND JUST SUPPORT EACH OTHER.
IT’S LIKE ANOTHER FAMILY.” - NICK, ONLINE MENTEE
We are in our fourth year of delivering Autistic-led online group mentoring and are extremely proud to be a leader in this important arena. We continue to expand and strengthen our program based on feedback from the families we serve.
Thank you for your support as we work hard to bring this opportunity to as many interested young people as possible. It is a privilege to work with them...and with you!
With best wishes,
Chris Varney (Founder/ CEO) and the whole I CAN Team
