On Friday 5 March at 2.30pm St Mary's Church Appledore are hosting the World Day of Prayer Service, which will be on Zoom because of the restrictions on indoor meetings.
This year it has been written by women from Vanuatu. There will be a short video to show life in Vanuatu, all the words of the service will be displayed on your screen and there are hymns you can sing along to.
Please do join us for what should be a lovely service; if you can choose a stone from your garden to have with you, this will be used in the service.
The link should be open soon after 2pm but everyone will be held in a 'waiting room' and admitted shortly before the service starts. Please do join early so that we can start promptly at 2.30pm. We ask that everyone - apart from those who have been asked to speak - remains on mute through the service. There will be time after the service ends to 'socialise' for those who wish to remain in the meeting.
