Sunday Lent Sermon Series: Tracing Threads
The Old Testament holds some of our favorite Bible stories - Noah's Ark, The Tower of Babel, The Stairway to Heaven, David and Goliath, among others - we may think that we know them well. But these accounts aren't meant to be isolated stories. In each, there is a thread for us to pick up, then follow through other Bible accounts, until it brings us to Christ. We will trace some of these threads during our Sunday Lenten services. This weekend, we'll trace a thread that goes from Noah to Moses through Christ to us. If you'd like to trace the thread before worship, scan through Genesis 6-8, Exodus 2:1-10 , and 1 Peter 3:20-22.
In addition to the Word, the Lord's Supper will also be offered during our weekend worship services. Help us prepare the table for you by registering at this link.
Sunday Morning Bible Study
If you weren't able to make it as we began last week, don't let that stop you from coming this week as we study the awesome way in which God shows us Jesus in the heart of his oldest words. Study will begin at 9:15am in the sanctuary. Come early for coffee and conversation. And encourage your older children/teens (ages 12+) to join you - Bible study isn't just for adults!
